    I've tried this place about 4-5 times now. Consistently good chips, fish, potato cakes. The place could use a bit of a clean up and wouldn't hurt the staff/owners to smile and interact with the customers.

    It will be interesting to see, how many people follow this rule by the shop owners or not. Some people may take it the wrong way if their where ask to leave the shop and wait outside, eg Good Friday.. Not the best l reckon where the shop up the road does not does this. Not really good customers services

    The fish and chips is nothing amazing, but does the job. I feel that it is a bit of a lucky dip with the quality of the meal. Agree with some of the other reviewers about poor customer service. It is not like we are expecting them to roll out the red carpet on arrival, but a smile wouldn't hurt lol. Perhaps take a leaf out of Exeter Road Pizza's book, they are always friendly in there.

    Hi all,

    Exeter Rd Fish and Chip Shop has been closed for the past month and will remain closed for a while to come. A number of story have been going around as to why it has been closed either by corona-virus, gone back home or not paying rent and left the shop all together. We may never know the real reason behind the shop been closed, only whats been said in the public.

    But all we do know is this shop is closed as we speak and will reopen when the time does come.

    Definitely would not recommend the souvalaki stewed meat with half slices of tomato.....couldn't even eat it..
